Inquiry-based is to find the true facts and information. This helps with students learning the different types of questions. The student must be involved in the activity in order for them to learn. We learn everything by acquiring knowledge, by using the inquiry-based learning the student will learn by not just listening to a lecture but by asking the question and getting a response.
Project-based learning is when the students learn by participating in real life experience and with an experience they build connections and that has a deeper understand of the concept. This learning style has five components to the system: establishing real life connections, building projects essential to learning, collaboration, having student driven environments and making assessments through the project. This style helps the students learn in a deeper way that they are not memorizing but saving it and seeing how it can relate.
Bloom’s Taxonomy helps us identify questions that give us a deeper meaning. There are six levels of questioning in Bloom’s taxonomy: create, evaluate, analyze, apply, understand and remember. This a great tool to use to see where the students do not understand and where to help them.
